Is Skull Sailor released?

The Shared Seas browser world is playable now at skullsailor.com. The separate native iPhone project has no announced App Store release date or download link.

Where can I play?

Play the online world in a modern desktop or mobile browser with WebGL. Keyboard and touch controls are supported. A network connection is required. Browser progress is separate from the native iPhone project.

Is this a browser game?

Yes. Since October 5, 2026, the homepage opens The Shared Seas, a persistent multiplayer browser adventure. Earlier native-only website descriptions no longer describe the browser experience.

What can I do in the world?

Sail between seven islands, approach a dock and step ashore. Recover relics and timber, deliver cargo for gold, upgrade your sails, and contribute timber to the shared Saltwind lighthouse. Treasure availability and the lighthouse are shared by everyone.

How does the camera work?

The world uses a third-person camera for sailing and walking. Drag across the world to rotate your view; use the zoom buttons or mouse wheel to change distance.

What is available today?

Seven islands, real-time player presence and chat, ship-to-shore exploration, online captain saves, recovery keys, shared treasure cooldowns, cargo deliveries, three sail upgrades and a collaborative lighthouse. The realm currently admits up to 48 connected captains; large-scale load testing is not yet complete.

What is outside this release?

The browser release does not include player-versus-player combat, guilds, player trading, cross-save with iPhone, or an unlimited-player MMO. Future features and native App Store availability have no announced dates.
